Friday
July 19 will be 7 years since my niece Melanie Metheny was last seen or
heard from. Melanie was a mother of 3 young children who were her whole
world when she disappeared. We once found an article she wrote for a
class that she was taking about how much her children meant to her when
we were going through her belongings.
Melanie was a mother first and foremost she was also a daughter a sister
a niece a granddaughter a cousin and also a friend. These last 7 years
that she has been missing have been some of the hardest years her family
has had to endure EVER. The not knowing the unanswered questions the
horror stories and the large hole that this has left in all of our lives
and hearts is absolutely painful beyond words.When a loved one goes missing the family that is here searching hoping praying it feels like you are on a roller coaster ride from hell that is never ending. We still do not know what happened to Melanie that dreadful day 7 years ago after endless hours of searching hoping looking fighting crying and praying but we will never ever stop until we have answers. we will continue to try to find answers until we have no breath left in our bodies. Melanie you are missed and loved so much. There wil forever be a large hole in our family that can never be replaced
