    Tracey Reitterer A young girl missing from MD back in 1980, was actually found as a Jane Doe in 1982, but it took just getting her family's DNA into the system 2 years ago to get a match on her, after 30 years. And that's only because someone thought to provide her name as a possible match to the Doe's stats. One would think with DNA technology, investigators would be tracking down families of missing persons cold cases like crazy to get some of these thousands of people identified, but obviously priorities are not in order in this country :(

    Judy Rollins Hoschar holy smokes Tracey .. then maybe we need that option on our drivers license.! 30 years ?? and all because of dna ?? well no wonder they cant be found. there lost in the SYSTEM !! wonder If there's someone we can write to about offering our DNA for that very reason ?? just think of the time it would save by doing that .. they could Identify just by computer. ask around, I'll check the Web. maybe that's a good start .. I didn't know any of this. WOW ! we have a 1970-72 case here. and there still unsure about the body .. she was murdered but her body was never found. with DNA from the family's even finding a bone could be Identified. you really have something there !

    Tracey Reitterer Judy, there are so many people in this country that are (still in this day & age) unaware of what to do when someone they love goes missing, or families of older missing persons cases that are not aware of providing DNA to the proper authorities. I would bet if Obama would come out in a Presidential address and talk about the DNA inititive and how families should come forward to get theirs on file for potential matches with some of these thousands of Jane & John Doe's across this country, we wouldn't have so many unidentified people across the US. And more $ is needed to fund testing labs for this purpose, instead of all the wasteful spending that goes on in this country everyday. Its all about "priorities".

Dolores Hulda Lynch, 77, is described as Black, 5 foot 8 inches and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, according to a news release. Lynch was last seen leaving her home, near 107th and Northern avenues, at 10:30 p.m. Friday in a 1999 gray Nissan Sentra, police said. Police said the vehicle has damage to the hood and grille and a Barack Obama sticker on the rear bumper. Lynch has early-stage dementia and is diabetic, police said, and should not be driving. The woman took her insulin but no other medication or supplies, police said. Police ask anyone who has seen Lynch or her vehicle to call the Peoria Police Department's non-emergency number at 623-773-8311. ‎6/7/2012: MISSING MAN: Corpus Christi, Texas: The daughter of Claude Wayne Hallmark has reported her 61-year-old father as a missing person. The daughter says she talks to her father on a daily basis, but she has not heard from him since last Thursday, 5/31/2012. Police are concerned due to Hallmark's medical condition. He drives a 1999 red Dodge Ram pickup. Neighbors living near his home on Brentwood and Shely were surprised to hear that Claude Hallmark is missing.

"It just shocked me that he's missing, I mean you see something like that on the news and you say oh that's the guy across the street." One neighbor said.

Another woman who lives across the street says Hallmark mowed lawns every morning.

"He'd get up and load up the truck and go do some lawns." She said.

Police say they checked on Hallmark's home yesterday but no one answered. Neighbors confirmed that Hallmark is home most of the time except for when he goes to Houston to visit his daughter.

According to neighbors living in the area it's not unusual for Claude to be gone for several days at time but it is strange that his daughter is the one who reported him missing.

"If she's the one reporting him missing then I find that alarming because if he does go anywhere it's to see her in Houston." A neighbor said.

Officers say a green pick up was parked on the street Wedneday when they checked on the home. However, Thursday afternoon, it had been moved. A neighbor told police she saw someone push the truck into the driveway but she could not identify them.

"I wouldn't even have thought about those people moving that truck, except for the fact that I just saw on the news that Hallmark is missing, I thought, wait a minute, I think the police need to know this." She said.

But neighbors living directly across the street say they've seen people over at Hallmark's house doing odd jobs while no one is there.

"If he's out of town, he'll ask people to come check on the house, I've seen them there every so often cleaning up the yard or things like that." A neighbor said.

Police are asking for help from the public. If you have any information on where Claude Hallmark could be, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.
