11/29/2012: I regret to bring the news Leigh Swanson (45) missing from Saginaw Township, Michigan since 11/17/2012 has been LOCATED DECEASED. Article: WNEM: The Midland County Sheriff's Office released an update that the female located Wednesday afternoon in the wooded area near a residence on North Fox in Edenville Township has been identified as Leigh Katheri
ne Swanson.
Midland County Sheriff Jerry Nielson said that Swanson, 45, died from an apparent gunshot wound.
The discovery of her body and that of another male were made while authorities were looking for Swanson, a Saginaw Township woman who went missing Nov. 16 after going on a date with a man she met online.
Nielson said Wednesday that deputies arrived at a home in the Sanford area on Tuesday afternoon where they traced a phone number that Swanson had used to call her mother.
When they arrived at the home in the 5100 block of North Fox Road, deputies heard a loud boom. Moments later, someone came out of the home and told deputies his 28-year-old son had just shot himself. Police are not releasing either man's identity. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and police say his death appears to be a suicide. Deputies said they found human DNA in the home that did not belong to the dead man.
Just before the news conference started on Wednesday afternoon, authorities were alerted to the discovery of Swanson's body across the street from the home where the alleged suicide took place. Deputies were combing the property around the home and stumbled upon what is described as a female body about 30 feet from the road. No other information has been released as of yet.
Swanson's family told TV5 she was going out on a date with a new man she met through an online dating website. That website was MeetMe.com. When family members hadn't heard from her in several days, they reached out to the man she went on the date with, but they said he was rude and hung up the phone once they indicated that they were going to contact police.
Nielson asked that if anyone has information on the details of this case to contact the Midland County Sheriff's Department at 989-839-4620 or the Saginaw Township Police Department at 989-793-2310.
Stay with WNEM.com and TV5 as we learn more about this story, including the identity of the man police say killed himself and how he may or may not be connected to Swanson.

It
is with great sadness to report that Justin Brian Hall's earthly body
was located on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Justin’s earthly body was
found on a cattle ranch 12 miles NW of where he was housesitting on
Leupp Road. An autopsy is pending and no cause of death has been
reported, as yet. Our prayers for Jenny, his sister, who searched
continually for her brother...and for Justin's parents who are very
heartbroken to have learned the news of the passing of their loving son.
Siblings, family and friends will always remember Justin as one who
made everyone laugh, was a great explorer and who loved life and the
land. An avid hiker and friend to all....he will surely be missed. Well
wishes and prayers can be left for his family on his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ pages/Missing-Justin-HALL/ 225414217521015?fref=ts Thank you. Cynthia Caron & the Team at LostNMissing Inc.

SUNLAND (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a 33-year-old mother of two from La Crescenta who mys
teriously disappeared Sunday.
Megan DiPiazza was last seen between Sunland and La Crescenta.
Detectives Tuesday found the woman’s purse and a goodbye note at her apartment.
Police coudn’t track her cellphone because it was reportedly turned off.
DiPiazza’s husband, Sal, is desperate for her safe return.
“I just want to make sure she is okay and I want her to come home,” he said. “As soon as I got the call from her boss that she did not show up at work, my heart dropped. I thought something is not right.”
Sal said the couple separated a month ago.
DiPiazza came over to their Sunland home on Sunday to talk about the fate of their marriage, which escalated into an argument.
“We didn’t come to an agreement. She took off and was a little upset. That’s the last I saw of her,” said Sal.
Investigators said there is no suspicious activity surrounding the disappearance.
KCAL9’s Suraya Fadel said police are investigating the incident as a voluntary missing persons case.
