MEGAN DIPIAZZA * AGE 33 * LA CRESCENTA, CALIFORNIA * 11/11/12
SUNLAND (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a 33-year-old mother of two from La Crescenta who mysteriously disappeared Sunday.

Megan DiPiazza was last seen between Sunland and La Crescenta.

Detectives Tuesday found the woman’s purse and a goodbye note at her apartment.

Police coudn’t track her cellphone because it was reportedly turned off.

DiPiazza’s husband, Sal, is desperate for her safe return.

“I just want to make sure she is okay and I want her to come home,” he said. “As soon as I got the call from her boss that she did not show up at work, my heart dropped. I thought something is not right.”

Sal said the couple separated a month ago.

DiPiazza came over to their Sunland home on Sunday to talk about the fate of their marriage, which escalated into an argument.

“We didn’t come to an agreement. She took off and was a little upset. That’s the last I saw of her,” said Sal.

Investigators said there is no suspicious activity surrounding the disappearance.

KCAL9’s Suraya Fadel said police are investigating the incident as a voluntary missing persons case.
