Family and friends of missing Becker County woman Melissa (Mitz) Eagleshield are offering a reward for information that could bring her home. The 42-year-old was last seen on Sunday, October 5 leaving her Rochert/Detroit Lakes home on foot.

Family and friends of missing Becker County woman Melissa (Mitz) Eagleshield are offering a reward for information that could bring her home. The 42-year-old was last seen on Sunday, October 5 leaving her Rochert/Detroit Lakes home on foot.
The family is now offering $1,500 to anyone who can provide useful information to the investigation. They say information that leads to the location and/or safe return of Melissa, and the arrest and conviction of a suspect, will be rewarded.
Eagleshield is about 5'1" and 155 pounds with light brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and sweatpants with a South Park logo.
A vigil and balloon release is being held for Eagleshield on Saturday, November 8. Family and friends will gather at Veterans Park from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Veterans Park is located on Veteran's Memorial Parkway, near the intersection of Washington Avenue and Highway 10.
