I ask that you please share Lauren's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You!
Lauren was a 20-year-old Indiana University student who disappeared in Bloomington IN on June 3, 2011 after a night of partying at a local bar. Her disappearance generated national press coverage and remains unsolved.
Using video surveillance footage Bloomington police were able to create a timeline of Lauren's whereabouts before her disappearance. Lauren was seen entering Kilroy's Sports bar in Bloomington at 1:46 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011. She was seen exiting the bar at 2:27 a.m. She is then seen entering Smallwood Plaza apartments, where her residence is located, at 2:30 a.m. and exiting at 2:42 a.m. Police reported that Lauren did not go to her fifth-floor apartment during this short visit. Corey Rossman, an acquaintance of Lauren, was with her at Kilroy’s Sports bar and walked with her to Smallwood, according to Rossman's attorney. After she left the apartments, she entered an alley at 2:48 a.m. that runs between College Avenue and Morton Street. Security cameras mounted on nearby apartments show her exit the alley toward an empty lot at 2:51 a.m. Spierer’s keys and purse were found along this route through the alley.
Statements from witnesses provided the rest of the timeline. Lauren visited the 5 North Townhomes apartment complex on the southeast corner of 11th Street and Morton Street. Rossman’s roommate, Mike Beth, who also hired an attorney, who says Beth was at the townhome writing a paper when Lauren visited. Jay Rosenbaum, a neighbor of Rossman and Beth, was reported to be the last person to see Lauren. He reported last seeing her at the intersection of 11th Street and College Avenue, headed south on College, about 4:30 a.m. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a white shirt, and no shoes.
