MIAMI -

The Miami-Dade Schools Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 11-year-old boy, authorities said.

According to police, Felix Desir was last seen at Miami Carol City Middle School on Thursday, October 25. He was wearing an orange shirt, beige pants, white shoes, and a black-gray book bag.

Police said they received a report that the missing child may be in imminent danger. According to the family, in a prior incident, three adult males exposed a firearm and threatened to kill Desir because of a physical altercation with another juvenile, police said.

The incident was reported to the Miami Gardens Police Department.

Desir is described as 5'3 and 100 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
