On November 17, 2010, Massena based troopers began an investigation into a missing person’s report. Jason M. Wing, was last seen during the summer of 2010. Initially the investigation was for a missing person. As the investigation developed ‘foul play’ was indicated through evidence that developed. Jason Wing..gone too soon


Human remains believed to be Jason Wing found in Norfolk, Trimm charged with murder

Dustin J. Trimm, of 325 County Route 49, Winthrop, is charged with second degree murder.

Norfolk -- Human remains have been located by the New York State Police that are believed to be those of Jason Wing.

Members of the Troop “B” Forensic Identification Unit conducted a search of 281 Grantville Road in the Town of Norfolk where they located the remains. An autopsy of those remains was ordered by St. Lawrence County Coroner James Sienkiewycz.

Dustin J. Trimm, of 325 County Route 49, Winthrop, was arrested and charged with second degree murder. He is now being held at the St. Lawrence County Jail in Canton without the option of bail.

The investigation is continuing at this time by the New York State Police and St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
