Prayers for the family and friends of Raymond Cochran. This is very sad. 71 is young.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the remains as 71-year-old Raymond Cochran, the father of a veteran Birmingham police officer. Cochran, who suffered from dementia, was reported missing June 17, 2010. He walked away from the 1600 block of 19th Street in Ensley. Coroner's officials said they were able to identify Cochran through a variety of medical records, including an MRI that showed a rare split in Cochran's skull
