Circumstance: His roommate last saw James before going to bed on July 31, 2011. When she hadn’t seen or heard from him in a few days she started calling aroung. James failed to show up to work and several other appointments the first week of August. James’s wallet and phone was found at their home, but his Muni Clipper card was missing, according to friends. The last person to hear from James was his ex-fiancĂ© who received an e-mail from him via his iPod touch. Friends thought perhaps he was depressed and headed out to the beach, where he liked to relax. he did not show up for work (Bay area Reporter.) After filing a missing persons report, James’ friends organized search parties and combed the coastlines, looking for the man who they say is always happy.
“He’s the most outgoing person,” his friend, Mena said. “… He’s the most bubbly person, and he has the most infectious laugh.”
“He is the life of the party, everywhere we go,” he added. He also said, “I can’t imagine Mo committing suicide, not at all.”
There is a $2,500 reward for any information leading to his safe return being offered by his friends.
