9/27/2012: ILLINOIS AMBER ALERT: Stark County, Illinois: An Amber Alert has bee
n issued for a three-week old girl taken from outside a post office in Stark County, Illinois.
The Stark County Sheriff's Office said Mia Graci Thompson was taken from the back seat of a vehicle in front of the Toulson Post Office at 8:10 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators said the suspect is a white female with brown hair who was wearing yellow sweatpants. Police said she was driving a gold or tan Buick or Pontiac and the backseat was full of items.
Thompson was wearing a yellow onesie with a flower on the left shoulder and blue jeans with pink flowers on the cuffs. She weighs eight pounds and is 21 inches long.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or call the Stark County Sheriff's Office, 309-286-2541.
