ity Pulley

Zandt County authorities are searching for a teenage girl who went missing last week.

17-year-old, Charity Pulley was last seen on September 18 between 9:30 and 10 p.m. at her Grand Saline home. Authorities say a window screen was removed from the outside of the house, and they feel she may be in danger.

Garvin and Jean Pulley say Charity was last seen on Tuesday, September 18. She had gone to bed around 9:30 p.m. and when Mrs. Pulley went to wake her up the next morning she was not in her room. The window to her bedroom was open and the screen was missing. “Everything seemed fine the night before,” said Pulley. “We had been joking around with her about her night shirt being wrong sideout. She had talked to a friend earlier and they planned what they were going to wear to school the next day and she had done her homework. We weren’t fighting or anything.”

Charity’s glasses, contacts, driver’s license and phone were still in her room. The only thing missing was her ipod. “That is so unlike her not to have her glasses or her driver’s license,” said Pulley. “She wore her driver’s license in a little purse around her neck because she was so proud of them.”

“We are not sure if she ran away or if someone kidnapped her. She may have met someone on the internet and went to meet them. She has done that before. We just want to know that she is okay,” said Pulley.

Charity is 4'11" and is 115 pounds.

If you have seen her or have any information please contact the Grand Saline Police Department at (903)-962-3145 or call (903) 962-5611.
