Rachelle's photo is shown age-progressed to 14 years and Raie's photo is shown aged to 15 years. The inset photos were taken after the children went missing. The children were allegedly abducted by their mother, Marie Jordan. A federal warrant for International Parental Kidnapping was issued for the abductor on March 22, 2000. They are believed to be in Mauritius, an island off the coast of Africa.

Reasons why the Grateful Doe case may have gotten off to a bad start:
Many news agencies and some law enforcement officials reported him as being a natural redhead. I have spoken with someone who has seen his autopsy photos. They said that in the pictures he appears to be a natural redhead. This caused some who glanced at the file to continue saying he was a redhead many years after the accident occurred, even after it was already known that his hair was dyed.
The new computer restoration looks nothing like the old one. Our Doe was not recognizable after the accident. The 95' restoration is a drawing based on someone's guess of what he may have looked like. The new restoration was made using the latest technology available. Computers start with the skull itself, and based on measurements, add flesh until a person is looking back. It is still an estimate of what he looked like, and should not be used in the same way as a photograph. However, it is probably safe to say that he looked more like the new restoration than the older one.
The age estimate is likely off. Grateful Doe is estimated to be 16 to 21 years old. However his dentals suggest he was older than that. Wisdom teeth, or third molars, start to come in at age 16 and older. Grateful Doe had all four wisdom teeth fully erupted. It is unusual for anyone to have all four wisdom teeth fully erupted, but it would be especially unlikely for a teenager. For this reason, I think 20-25 years old is probably a more accurate estimate. It is not unusual for the age estimates on unidentified people to be off a bit.
He probably wasn't from Virginia. This story made pretty big news in Virginia in 1995. Most everyone in the area has heard the story, and that is where many people started their search. But Grateful Doe was hitch hiking across several states. Virginia was just along his route, and most likely he was from someplace else entirely. This story has not made big news nationwide, so people missing this young man may have never even heard of this case.
It is these same things that make me believe that identifying him today is very possible even though it hasn't happened as of now. This is a solvable case. In fact, that he may never be identified is something my brain just can't wrap around.

Also in no way am I implying that law enforcement did not do a good job with this case. On the contrary, I think they have done an excellent job, and their continued dedication to this case is to be admired.

He left his home in the Early hours of February 14, Video footage of him was located at the Gaint gas station in Pagosa Springs at 03:30 hours in the morning of the 14th . Dillon got into a Maroon or Dark red Chevy Malibu wagon. He was with a short Heavyset, possibly Caucasian Female. They put $45.00 in fuel in the car and left in an unknown direction

Morgan is three now and about 39" and approximately 30-35 lbs with darker hair now and hazel eyes. Michael is 6'2" tall and 185 pounds with military cut black hair and brown eyes.

Bordeaux, who has blond hair and brown eyes, was wearing a pink halter top and black shorts at the time of her disappearance, police said. She is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 99 pounds.

4/17/2012: A Fort Bragg soldier last seen at a Fayetteville bar may have caught a ride home from a bar employee before she was reported missing.
A U.S. Army official who spoke with CNN on the condition of anonymity says PFC Kelli Bordeaux, 23, was drinking at Froggy Bottoms and was given a ride home by a bar employee.
CNN reports that at some point Bordeaux sent two text messages -- one said, "Got home safely." The official told CNN that is was unknown who received the text message or the contents of the other text.
Detectives investigating the case say they have yet to find any records of those texts but are continuing to look for proof they were sent.
Fayetteville Police say Bordeaux was reported missing by Fort Bragg officials on April 16 when she did not report for duty. She was last seen on April 14 around 1:20 a.m. leaving Froggy Bottoms, a bar at 6326 Ramsey Street.
Bordeaux is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, 102 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink halter top and black shorts.
Bordeaux's sister, Olivia Cox, described her as "the most amazing person I know." Cox also said it was out of character for Bordeaux to just go missing.
"She wanted to make sure her future was successful and she knew she was going to be the person to make it successful," Cox said.
"She wanted her future to be securely in place and she knew joining the military would do that. Being a soldier, for Kellie, is something she wouldn't jeopardize for anything. Missing working isn't something that's in character for Kellie."
Tuesday night, police were still interviewing family and friends, to try and determine who she was with, when she was last seen.
Bordeaux is originally from Orlando, Fla., but was stationed at Ft. Bragg. She is married to Mike Bordeaux, a civilian.
