10/3/2012: I regret to bring the news Vonda Berry Marshall missing from Johnson City, Tennessee has been ▬►LOCATED DECEASED according to the Facebook page set up by her family: It's been a really sad day. Being with the family today when they received the news about Vonda was so, so very sad. The officers that came was very nice and broke the news as easily as they possibly could.
Just being a friend of the family I would rather not say anything about what they told us. I feel it's the family's place to tell what they want to in their own time and in their own ways. Right now they need the time to grieve the loss of Vonda in their own ways also.
Just please keep the entire family in your thoughts and Prayers. This is very hard on each and everyone of them. Prayers, God giving them strength and friends will see them through this.

ARTICLE: The Carter County Sheriff's Department has found a body in Watauga Lake. Sheriff Chris Mathes confirmed Wednesday night around 6:30 p.m. that it is missing 28-year-old Vonda Donaldson of Johnson City.
Captain Mike Street with the Johnson City police says Donaldson's boyfriend Steven Bennett is the only suspect in the case. Police say Bennett told family he choked Donaldson to death during an argument at her apartment Saturday night.
He's currently in jail on an unrelated parole violation."
