‎9/26/2012: California: The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office continues to search
for Katherine “Kathy” Gillham, missing for more than three months.

According to a sheriff's office release, Gillham was last seen at 3 p.m. on June 11 at the Elk Valley Casino in Crescent City. According to the release, it is believed that she was traveling from Grants Pass, Ore., to her home in Big Lagoon. The 40-year-old -- described as a high-risk missing person because she is diabetic -- was reportedly driving a gray 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor with the license plate number 6UXE841 at the time of her disappearance.

Gillham is a Native American, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighs about 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She walks with a distinct limp due to knee surgery, the release said. She was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt with deer on it and black jeans. Gillham was also wearing a thick chain necklace.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information about this case to call the sheriff's office at 445-7251 or the sheriff's office crime tip line at 268-2539.2012.
