The remains of missing 24-year-old old Mandy Marie Matula are found and positively identified. Finally, after months of searching for their loved one, Mandy’s family has answers.

According to an Eden Prairie Police press release human remains were found by a hiker on Saturday, Oct. 26 around 1 p.m. in a shallow grave. “The remains were found wrapped in a blanket, along with several personal effects, including an Eden Prairie High School class ring and a University of Minnesota Duluth Fastpitch Softball pullover embroidered with the number 14,” the release goes on to say.

Mandy vanished on May 1 after last seen with her ex-boyfriend, David Marshall Roe. Since day one, he’s always been a person of interest in this investigation to find her, but police couldn’t question him about Mandy. Reports indicate Roe took his own life the day after Mandy went missing.

Police say Mandy most likely died after she was shot in the head once before she was buried. The Eden Prairie Police and at least a dozen other agencies have worked extensively over the last six months to conclude this investigation.

The release concludes with, “The Eden Prairie Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Mandy Matula’s family and friends, and thanks the many community members and volunteers who dedicated themselves to finding her and bringing her home.”

MISSING PERSON : TIMEKA DONYALE PRIDGEN

HAVE YOU SEEN ME? Timeka Donyale Pridgen 5/12/01 LaGrange NC http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/p/pridgin_timeka.html I ask that you please share Timeka's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You! Timeka was last seen at 10:15 p.m. in the living room at her residence on South Street in La Grange NC on May 12, 2001. Her mother Cosandra Best, was waiting for her boyfriend, Eric Earl Mercer Moore, to come home. She planned to break up with him that night. Best fell asleep and woke up at approximately midnight, and discovered her daughter was gone and Moore wasn't at the residence either. Authorities initially classified Timeka as a runaway and believed she may have traveled to Goldsboro NC. However, they now think she may have been forced out of her home by someone after she let the person inside. She was barefoot at the time of her disappearance and left all her belongings behind, including her purse, money and her shoes. Moore is considered a person of interest in Timeka's disappearance. He had prior convictions for kidnapping, assault, theft and a sex crime, something Best didn't discover until after Timeka vanished. In 2006, he was convicted again of sexually assaulting a minor and is in prison. He hasn't been charged in connection with Timeka's case. A photo of Moore is posted below this case summary. Timeka's mother stated her daughter was a typical teenager in 2001 and enjoyed drawing, and that she had no reason to run away from home. Her case remains unsolved. UPDATE!!!!! POLICE: MOTORIST CALLED 911 SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE HE DIED IN ROAD-RAGE SHOOTING (January 10, 2014) In multiple 911 calls shortly before he was killed, a man said he was being chased by an enraged motorist -- right up to when he was apparently run off the road in Pennsylvania and then shot to death, police said Friday. Timothy Davison, 28, was driving home to Maine along Interstate 81 early last Saturday when he was shot multiple times and killed in Antrim Township. So far, there is no indication that Davison initiated the incident or provoked the shooter, Pennsylvania State Police Capt. Steven Junkin told reporters Friday. Davison may have first encountered the shooter on Interstate 70 in Maryland and traveled between 13 and 15 miles, with the gunman in pursuit, before being forced off the road just beyond the Pennsylvania state line, authorities said. Junkin said Davison called 911 from Maryland and Pennsylvania, but he declined to provide details. Authorities have not released the contents of those 911 calls, citing the ongoing investigation. A task force made up of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia state police, as well as FBI agents, is seeking help from the public and operators of body shops in finding a "dark colored" Ford Ranger XLT pickup with damage on the driver's side from ramming into Davison's car. "How concerned are we that it'll happen again?" Junkin asked. "We obviously have an individual out there who was so incensed that he continued to pursue Mr. Davison and took it to that next step. He murdered an individual for whatever slight that he perceived. Will this person do it again? We don't know. We don't want to take that chance." The Maine resident ended up shot multiple times, a death that authorities have ruled a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-472-8477. Investigators initially believed the same motorist may have been behind another road rage shooting eight hours earlier and 56 miles northeast, but Junkin said Friday that the two crimes do not appear to be related. James Allocca, Davison's uncle, told CNN this week that the family "wants justice before someone else gets hurt." The victim's father, Timothy Davison Sr., said he learned about his son's death when police arrived at his door Saturday. "I can't begin to tell you what it's like to hear that," he said. "It's not right." He went to Pennsylvania on Tuesday to collect his son's personal belongings. His son, he said, was a "great guy and a very easy kid to raise." "He cared for everyone around him," he said. "He was a rugged kid, extremely sensitive." Davison worked at his father's construction business. He said he hoped to meet his son's killer. Asked what he would say, Davison said: "That is for me." "There are different levels of loss," Allocca said. "This has to be the worst." MANHUNT: WILL VIOLENT ROAD RAGE KILLER STRIKE AGAIN? video here http://www.hlntv.com/video/2014/01/08/timothy-davison-road-rage-killer-manhunt Authorities fear a violent road-rage killer who gunned down a 28-year-old man driving home after the holidays could strike again. Do you have information? Call the tipline at 800-427-8477. HAVE YOU SEEN ME? Christina Whittaker Young Project Jason Profile 11/13/09 Hannibal MO http://projectjason.org/forums/index.php?topic=7442.0 I ask that you please share Christina's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You! Twenty-one-year-old Christina Whittaker disappeared at 11:45 p.m. Friday after leaving Rookies Sports Bar at 611 Broadway. “There’s nothing to indicate foul play,” Police Capt. James Hark said Tuesday afternoon. “We’re not ruling that out, but we’re pursuing all angles at this point.” Hark said detectives were conducting a wide search that included the assistance of a Missouri Water Patrol boat, the use of all-terrain vehicles and the help of other law enforcement agencies. “We’ve been in contact with family, friends and acquaintances,” he said. “We’ve had officers go and knock on doors of places of previous known contacts. We’re blanketing every area we can think of.” Hark said Whittaker’s family had been cooperative. He called the intensive search a “typical response” by his department to a missing persons report. “We always broaden our scope,” he said. “We’re trying to follow up everything we can. Information is really thin right now.” Investigators said Whittaker met with friends Friday night at the downtown bar. A police report indicated she was asked to leave by a bartender “due to her level of intoxication” and the fact that she became “disorderly with other bar patrons.” Witnesses said Whittaker left the bar by herself and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, pink tank top and pink and white Nike tennis shoes. “Other information from witnesses indicates while at the bar Christina was not only consuming a large quantity of alcohol but also taking prescription medication,” according to a police report. Court records show Whittaker’s last known address as 1708 Ruby in the Oakwood neighborhood on the southwest side of the city. People with information should call the department’s Criminal Investigation Division at (573) 221-0987. Sharing generates awareness, Awareness generates support, Support generates HOPE. MISSING FOR 6 YEARS... Yasmin Acree Endangered Missing 1/15/08 Chicago IL http://www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1088268 I ask that you please share Yasmin's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You! Yasmin was last seen at her family's Chicago IL home on January 15, 2008. That day she went to the North Lawndale YMCA, where she was involved in sports and other activities. After she came home, she did a load of laundry and went to bed. She was gone by the next morning. There were indications of a break-in at their residence; two locks on an outside fence and a lock on the basement door had been cut. Yasmin's bedroom was in the basement. Her room appeared untouched and nothing was taken, not even Yasmin's eyeglasses. Yasmin was a freshman at Austin Polytech Academy at the time of her disappearance, and was about to start a new job. She has no history of runaway behavior. Her family has criticized the police investigation in her case, claiming investigators assumed she was a runaway and failed to look into other possible causes of her disappearance. Authorities admitted they made serious errors at the onset of the investigation by not immediately dusting for fingerprints and not taking the broken lock from the basement door. Yasmin, who was born in Kentucky, had a troubled past. Her mother, who is now deceased, was a drug addict. Yasmin, and her older brother, Demarcus, were removed from the home when they were toddlers. Yasmin spent several years in the Kentucky foster care system, where she was sexually abused and developed severe emotional and behavioral problems. In 2001, Yasmin and Demarcus went to live with Rose Mae Starnes, their aunt by marriage, and she adopted them in 2006. Starnes stated she loved Yasmin but had trouble dealing with her behavior problems, and occasionally disciplined her by whipping her with a belt or locking her in the basement. In 2007, when Demarcus was 16, Starnes asked him to leave her home. Yasmin was the only child living at the residence at the time of her disappearance. She had been an excellent student in middle school, but when she started high school she got poor grades. Jimmie Terrell Smith and his father lived in the second-floor apartment in Yasmin's building at the time of her disappearance. His father was friends with Starnes. Smith moved into the building in 2005, after he was paroled from prison where he had been serving a sentence for attempted murder. Following his release he was arrested six times and he admits he was always armed and sold drugs near Yasmin's apartment. He reportedly took an interest in Yasmin, and she mentioned him twice in her diary. Starnes didn't tell the police that Smith was living in her building until 2009, when he was arrested for raping five females, including two 14-year-old girls he allegedly kidnapped. In a press interview from jail, Smith said he knew what happened to Yasmin and he was responsible for four murders he hadn't been charged with. This information hasn't been confirmed. Yasmin's case remains unsolved and foul play is suspected. UPDATE!!!!! TUSON POLICE SEEK NEW INFORMATION ON ABDUCTION (January 15, 2014) Dozens of police officers knocked on doors in a Tucson neighborhood Wednesday in hopes of finding new information in an investigation of a 6-year-old girl who was abducted more than 18 months ago. The door-to-door effort by about 50 officers in Isabel Mercedes Celis' neighborhood wasn't prompted by new leads. Instead, it was intended to seek out information that might not have been revealed when investigators first flooded the area after the child's April 2012 disappearance, police spokesman Sgt. Pete Dugan said. "It's a reconnect to see if there is anything new out there," Dugan said. Authorities have been searching for the girl since her father reported her missing. Family members have said they last saw her in her bedroom the night before. A window was later found open with the screen pushed aside. A neighbor said she heard her dogs barking and male voices outside her bedroom window around 6:30 a.m. on the day the girl was reported missing. The neighbor said there were no sounds that indicated a struggle. The girl's mother, Rebecca Celis, said she was pleased that police were still investigating her daughter's disappearance. "We are happy they are trying to get new eyes on the case," the mother said. Police have declined to say whether they have a suspect in the case or whether the child is believed to still be alive. No arrests have been made. They believe the girl was abducted but haven't concluded whether it was done by a stranger or someone known to the family. Still, police say whoever is responsible for the abduction had knowledge of the home's layout. About a month after the child's disappearance, police revealed that her father, Sergio Celis, had been barred from having contact with the girl's two older brothers, but they did not say why. Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer said he didn't know whether Celis' father is still forbidden from having contact with his sons. The state's child welfare agency declined to comment on the case. Sergio Celis didn't immediately return calls seeking comment late Wednesday afternoon. In the weeks after the disappearance, authorities had searched for the child in a 3-square-mile area around her home, including ponds, dry streambeds and empty houses. They also searched her house, but records of that search have been sealed by a judge. The latest police canvass of Celis' neighborhood began at midday Wednesday and will probably continue through Saturday. "This has been an investigation that has never stopped," Dugan said. http://www.azfamily.com/news/Tucson-police-seek-new-information-on-abduction-240368131.html http://www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1193092

MISSING FOR 27 YEARS... Joseph Helt 1/16/87 Ellenville NY

MISSING FOR 27 YEARS... Joseph Helt 1/16/87 Ellenville NY http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/h/helt_joseph.html I ask that you please share Joe's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You! Joseph was last seen near Sam's Point ice caves in Ellenville NY on January 16, 1987. He and three friends, John LaForge, Wade Marks and Kelly Diaz, were staying at the Mount Cathalia Lodge when they decided to go for a late-night drive in LaForge's Subaru. Joseph was driving when their car got stuck in the snow at approximately 3:30 a.m. The four young men were unable to push the car out and Joseph left the car and went to get help at the village five miles downhill. Diaz and Marks also abandoned the car a short time later, then LaForge left as well, separately from the others. The three other boys made it to safety, but Joseph has never been heard from again. The others assumed he had gone home and didn't realize he was missing until the next day, when LaForge went back to retrieve his car. An extensive search turned up no sign of Joseph. The inclement weather seriously hampered the search efforts; there was a great deal of snow and high winds, and most of the roads on the mountain were impassible. At the time of his disappearance, Joseph worked alongside his mother at the Auction Barn in Napanoch NY. He was interested in rock music, particularly the band KISS. Both of his parents have died in the years since his disappearance, but his aunt and his friends hope he may yet be located. Vikki's case remains unsolved. She owned a beauty parlor in South Holland IL in 1991. If you have any information concerning Vikki's case, please contact: Glenwood Police Department 708-758-6071

Thinking of Vikki Vukelich on her birthday... http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/v/vukelich_vikki.html I ask that you please share Vikki's story. Will you please share? One tip...that's all it takes. Thank You! Vikki's husband, David Vukelich, says he last saw her on February 23, 1991 in their home in the 500 block of Tulip Drive in Glenwood IL. David stated he and Vikki argued about going to a party the night of her disappearance. He went to bed and she slept on the couch. When David woke up the following morning, there was an empty glass of wine in the living room and Vikki was gone. $8,000 was also missing from the home, but Vikki left behind her clothes, her shoes, her eyeglasses, and her two daughters. David and Vikki married in 1986. They had a troubled relationship and the police had been called to their house several times and arrested both of them due to domestic disputes. All the charges were dismissed each time. Shortly before her disappearance, Vikki told her friends she was going to divorce David. She had filed for divorce twice previously, in 1988 and 1989, but never went through with the whole process. She said she dropped the divorce suits because she was not sure she could support herself financially, without David's help, but she took a second job shortly before her disappearance and told her friends she was "really going to do it this time." David did not report his wife missing; a friend of Vikki's filed a report on February 28th. Neighbors stated that shortly after Vikki vanished, David did cement work in his driveway and garage and removed carpeting from the home. He told Vikki's older daughter not to go in the basement. Two months after his wife's disappearance, David filed for divorce. During the proceedings, he testified that Vikki frequently left him without warning for periods of time and would then return with no explanation as to where she had been. The couple's divorce was finalized in August 1991. David remarried in 1994, but his second wife died, apparently of breast cancer, a short time later. He remarried again in 2002. He moved out of his and Vikki's home seven months after her disappearance and now lives in Dyer IN. In 2003, authorities searched the house the Vukeliches lived in when Vikki vanished. They also exhumed David's second wife's body to look for signs of foul play. It is not known what, if any, evidence was discovered, as a result of these efforts. Vikki's older daughter was interviewed by investigators and media at that time and stated that while her mother occasionally left the family home for short periods after fighting with David, she always kept in contact with her children. Although David is considered the prime suspect in Vikki's disappearance, he has never been charged in connection with it. Vikki's case remains unsolved. She owned a beauty parlor in South Holland IL in 1991.
