The body was of an adult male and was found in the base of a steep ravine, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD)'s blog post. The male was declared dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported. LAFD and the police are currently investigating the cause of the Sunland fire and whether it was connected to the burned man. Firefighters responded to the fire at 3 a.m., which was at 8300 W. SHAFTSBURY, Vt. -
The Vermont State Police are looking for a missing person this morning.
Police say, Owen Cornell, 29, of Shaftsbury, Vt., was reported missing by his parents.
Cornell told his parents that he was going to a party on June 16th, but didn't tell them where or who he was going with.
He has not been heard from since.
Cornell was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark shirt and black shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vermont State Police at (802)-442-5421.
