Missing Bianca Piper

Bianca Piper was just 13-years old when she disappeared in 2005.

She was last seen walking on the road to her home in rural Foley.

Dropping her off, had been a therapist's suggestion to deal with anger management.

It was a decision her mother will always question.

She now believes Bianca was abudcted.

Shannon Tanner says, "I always just felt like it had to be somebody in the area. I can't imagine a stranger being on that road, taking a drive looking for someone because it goes nowhere."

In the last six years, Lincoln County Investigators have checked out countless leads.

And in the last six weeks, the family even got a call about a possible sighting of Bianca at a Target in Fairview Heights.

But so far, nothing has panned out. And Bianca's mother, Shannon Tanner thinks there's more to be done and that Lincoln County authorities won't be able to do it.

Shortly after his disappearance, his ex-wife got a text message from Burt's cellular phone, stating he planned to disappear and was moving to a new address and getting a new life. He has never been heard from again.

In May 2007, the Mercury Cougar Burt had been driving at the time of his disappearance was found abandoned and burned in an extremely remote desert area 45 miles north of the Nevada state line. There were no tire tracks or foot prints around where the three claimed that the car got stuck. This is even verified by the statements given by NYS DEC officials. Within these articles you’ll also see the complete disregard showed by the officials running the search & rescue. (ie: statements such as “What we’ll do periodically is check along the roads and whatever opens up first in the spring. It’ll be a very informal type of search.”-statement by DEC Ranger LaRow) And three months after Joe disappeared, the NYS DEC put a 3 dog search team out on a 1 mile sq area for just 2 days, after which they proclaimed “We found no evidence, no clues. I’m not putting anyone else into the woods. We feel at this point we’re not going to continue any other organized searches,.”-statement by DEC Ranger Ovitt. COMPLETE disregard for Joe! 4 days after the initial search began, the police ALL pulled out of the search efforts and the Village of Ellenville Chief of Police George Sheeley made the decision to seek the demolition of the burned out ski lodge that the kids were partying in (the last known location where Joe was). Without searching the area, 6 months after Joe disappeared Sheeley had the Town building inspector work with the Cragsmoor Fire Dept to burn the building to the ground!!! The 2-year-old Detroit girl has been missing since Dec. 2. Her father, D'Andre Lane, told police the girl was in a rear car seat when the vehicle was taken at gunpoint on Custer Street near Brush Street. The car was found a short time later, but the girl wasn't in it.

Police have publicly questioned the credibility of the father’s story, but Lane continues to claim he had nothing to do with his daughter’s disappearance.

Last week, the Prosecutor’s Office said the Detroit Police Department requested a warrant in connection with the disappearance of Bianca, but no details regarding the request were released.

Police previously released a composite sketch of a suspect, described as a light-skinned African-American man who is not clean-shaven.

On Sunday, additional deputies and members of the Linn County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team joined the search effort until about 11 p.m. The search continued Monday with deputies, 15 members of Search and Rescue and four Linn County Sheriff's Mounted Posse members on horseback. They searched until about 10:30 Monday night. The search resumed Tuesday morning with four deputies, 24 members of Search and Rescue and a K-9 tracking unit from Benton County. A lighter and water bottle have been found alongside the road, not far from the vehicle, and are believed to belong to Hardin. WEST VIRGINIA: WANTED FOR MURDERING A ENTIRE FAMILY: Missing Family Found Dead

A family of four reported missing last weekend is found dead. The West Virginia State Police say they are searching for the suspect.

West Virginia State Police announced on Saturday that they had discovered four bodies in a wooded area believed to be those of a missing man, his girlfriend and his two young children. Police said the bodies were found about a mile from where Steven Hendrix’s missing 2003 Chevy Venture van was discovered on Friday night near Carl, in Nicholas County.

Mr Hendrix, 38, his 23-year-old girlfriend Amber Martin, and his two young children, six-year-old Dakota and four-year-old Kaylee, had vanished on May 19.

Michael Baylous, of the West Virginia State Police, would not comment on the nature of the killing, but said that troopers with children of their own were disturbed by the scene.

Following the discovery, police have launched a manhunt for 27-year-old James Roy Belknap, of Leivasy, Nicholas County, who has been identified as a suspect. He was last seen driving a white Ford F-150 or a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Belknap is considered armed and dangerous. It remains unknown what, if any, connection he had to the victims.

Mr Hendrix's older daughter, Cheyenne Hendrix, had reported the family missing on May 21 when she was unable to reach her father.

The 38-year-old was indicted earlier this year on three felony charges for allegedly delivering oxycodone.
According to Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney Patrick Via, Ms Martin also failed to appear for an unrelated court appearance scheduled for Monday in magistrate court.

Police had initially believed that Hendrix was avoiding prosecution, but his niece claimed otherwise.

‘He left his coffee pot on, he left lights on,’ Vanessa Ramirez told WVNSTV. ‘His girlfriend's purse is still in the home. He didn't lock the doors and no one has been able to get a hold of him. He took nothing with him.’

Jessica Canelos was spotted May 20, 2012 along with a male, Christopher Eugene Johnson, of NC coming BACK into the USA out of Mexico. Authorities do not believe the child, Aidan Canelos, was with them. There has been no cell activity, no contact with her husband or her family which is extremely unusual. While they are not ruling foul play, the authorities are extremely concerned. Jessica and Aidan were filed as missing when she told her husband she was going to Raleigh, NC to visit her father and never arrived on May 18, 2012.

NY: UNIDENTIFIED BLACK MALE HIT BY CAR IN HOSPITAL - Who is he?

Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man seriously injured in a Wyandanch crash Thursday evening.

Around 11:20 p.m., Steven Albert, 84, was driving his 1993 Ford Taurus westbound on Acorn Street when he struck a pedestrian crossing the street, police say.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, is described as a Black male, approximately 50 years old. He was wearing a multi-colored COOGI-brand sweatshirt, tan baseball cap, brown snakeskin-style shoes and a gold ring with a red stone on his right hand. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip by Wyandanch Rescue. He is listed in serious condition.

Albert, of Wheatley Heights, was the only occupant of the car. He was not injured.

The Taurus was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.

Police are seeking assistance in the case of a Fall River teen missing since Friday evening.
According to Fall River Police, Veronica Torres, 17, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. in the area of 572 High St. Police say she was last seen wearing a yellow sweatshirt and aqua shorts. Torres is further described as being five feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, with long brown hair and a medium brown complexion.
