British Columbia, Canada's Missing Missing persons from British Columbia, Canada! By: For The Missing: Pacific Northwest
OGDEN — Jae Hazen had not gone a day without talking to her mom, but it has been more than 10 days since she last talked to Lori Dixon. And Hazen’s aunt, Michelle Stillman, cannot think why her sister would leave home without her cellphone, purse, bus pass and cigarettes.

OGDEN — Jae Hazen had not gone a day without talking to her mom, but it has been
more than 10 days since she last talked to Lori Dixon.
And Hazen’s aunt, Michelle Stillman, cannot think why her sister would leave home without her cellphone, purse, bus pass and cigarettes.
“This is totally out of character for her,” said Stillman, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Dixon is the second missing person in the Top of Utah that police have sought help in finding in the last several days.
Dixon, 49, was last seen leaving her apartment at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15. She lives at 525 Park Blvd., with her daughter, said Detective Sgt. Tim Scott.
Hazen, 30, said her mother had left their apartment following a disagreement. She was wearing black dress slacks, a black blouse and pumps to go to a job interview.
She never made it to the interview, and she did not return to the apartment.
Hazen checked her mom’s cellphone several days later in hopes of finding a clue as to the woman’s whereabouts and saw a missed phone call from the business where Dixon had a job interview.
She called the business. “They asked if she had wanted to reschedule the interview, and I told them she never came back,” Hazen said.
Hazen said she started to become worried about her mom the night she didn’t return. She and a friend started looking for Dixon.
Hazen filed a missing person’s report with police on Oct. 17.
“We don’t go a couple of hours without talking,” Hazen said. She said this is the longest period of time they have gone without talking to each other.
Hazen has spent time searching for her mother in wooded areas between Ogden Cemetery and Park Boulevard because that is where Dixon would go to reflect and think.
Dixon is “afraid of her own shadow, so running away from home is not something she would do,” Stillman said.
She said her sister would not have gone anywhere for long without her cigarettes.
Dixon does not have a car and travels on the bus and would have taken her bus pass with her if she was going to go a long distance. Hazen said they moved to Ogden in 2004 from Colorado.
Dixon does not go out much, except on errands, doctor’s appointments and to vocational rehabilitation so she can get a job, Hazen said.
Hazen said she is trying get volunteers to help search for her mother. Anyone who wants to help can call her at 801-675-7050.
Police have also conducted a search for the woman.
“We’ve checked all the jails and hospitals,” Scott said.
Dixon does have moderate anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, police said. She is described as having blond shoulder-length hair, standing 5 feet tall and weighing 140 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ogden Major Crimes Bureau at 801-629-8348.
