CARLSBAD - Police, fire and rescue personnel continue their mission today to recover the body of a small child found in a deep hole in the yard of a Carlsbad residence early this morning.
Police believe the body in the hole is that of 4-year-old Samuel Jones, who was reported missing from the backyard of his home in the 100 block of Taylor Circle, off National Parks Highway, at around 5:10 p.m. Saturday. An Amber Alert was sent out a short time later.
