I called the police station originally handling the case and they told me it's been turned over to the homicide detectives 313-596-2260. I called and asked what the latest details were in the case and was told they could not discuss the case since it's an ongoing investigation. However when asked if a warrant has been issued I was referred to 313-224-5777 as the Prosecutors office. When I called them they have referred me to another division at the Prosecutors office where I have left a message for a returned call.

    • Linda Canham No its not they have this lead for weeks that her little body was in that landfill. Stop wasting time and get that little girl if you really believe thats where she is. By the time they get there its going to be so hard to find anything. UGH i hate the system and how it works. It protects the guilty 75% of the time and 75% of the time the innocent are portrayed as guilty because they are looking in the wrong place. Not saying this mother is innocent cause lord knows I feel she did bitch wont take a lie detector test she did it!!!! But either way its protecting the guilty. They got hazmat teams in every state, they should have got their tet shots yearly and they hep shots, that is no excuse. They will suit up to go into a suspected meth house, it's the same gear.     • Shelia Bradley Smith That may or may not be true, but I spoke to a black woman at the department a week and a half ago. I understood the hazard, but I did tell her that from experience this should not take this long. It doesn't matter what race any child is, but to leave her little body there and not get it to hopefully preserve evidence is just pure ignorance on their behalf.
